Thread: loctite/arodite when fitting scopes/bases

Don't use loctite thread locker's, they make epoxy glue though.

Use an epoxy with a good strength. Like Devcon plastic putty. I bought it from an engineering shop for $25. Done about 5 rifles with the one tube plus one bedding job. Can get a similar metal filled epoxy from supercheap.

Abe had to pry my rail off with a claw hammer with all the bolts removed. Just used 400 grit on the mating surfaces and cleaned with window cleaner, meths, brake kleen, whatever.

Aint never coming loose at the wrong time. Loctite on the other hand, lets just say Dan Hardy uses it.
