Thread: Looking to buy a new 300 win mag for my new scope any suggestions please

I have a Tikka T3 Lite in 7 mm rem mag but it's probably a 2 MOA riffle at best, should be good out to 500 m and beyond but with that sort of Grouping 300 m is about it's lot. The boy is just getting into it so I thought I would donate him my riffle as 200 m would be about his sort of range.
Because I have 300 win mag dies I thought since there isn't much difference in the 2 I would go for that.
I am mainly shooting down on clearings but it would be good to be able to use it in the bush occasionally.
The Sako A7 is boasting 1 MOA out of the box which is about what I need, thought I would ask if anyone had any other ideas or if they had any experience with the Sako A 7 etc, cheers.
