You obviously didn't get there @jim160

Had one mate going both days.

I had a few items of interest but in the end didn't even put in a postal. Could have got my mate to bid I suppose. Now need to wait patiently (Ted is usually quick) for the prices realised - then I can slash my wrists or not, as the case may be.

It was mostly rats and mice though - cartridge cases etc. Most serious interest was in the Sykes fighting knives and the CZ 22s

Thanks res, i suspect i missed out. i emailed my form in on thursday, and just saw they were meant to be in on wednesday. did you get any acknowledgement/receipt of your postal bid? From what I bid im sure i would have been one of the front runners for it.

Not getting conformation of your bid being received seems common at the NZ auctions so I wouldn't worry about that to much. Both those emails would get to Ted

Picked up the Husky 9.3x57 with the banana yellow stock which I promptly dealt to last night. A bargain at $470 all up.

I did ponder on bidding on that. But have a few big calibre rifles already so didn't really need another.
