    .458 Win Mag there are some nice conversions done on the p14 and you can load 45-70 level all the way up to max.

    Seen a few Mauser 96 actioned rifles being sold under the brand name stiga in 270 and 30-06 although alot of people say they are not strong enough but it was the old krag actioned 6.5x55's that got a bad rep for being weak

    After more thought today, Mucko you need to build a "Big arse" gun not some nancey smancy woofer calibre like a 6.5 something

    I am thinking 375RUM its a beltless case maybe the same case as 338 edge i love my 6.5mm rifles but this time i want mass and like the thought of 300gr pill doing 3000ft/s is pretty awesome.

    Nah mate the reference was to the case i think the 338 edge and the 375 RUM use the same case

    mucko check out google " battle of the big bores the 458 win mag advantage" He has the .458 350 gr tsx at 2750 fps for 5890 ft lb never tried it in mine but will one day.
