How are you going with this build? Interested to see which products you went for, and your intended use for the rifle? I am about to delve down this path and the options are a little overwhelming.

    My first AR

Yeah it's coming along slowly when the funds allow it had a family get together and wedding recently so no spare coin lately

I've got as far as get the lower assembled with the buffer attached

I went the aero precision lower with a eastern star precision lpk and a guntec a2 rifle buffer assembly

Next on the list is a spears a cat stock and ambidextrous safety

As for my intended use I'm after a bit of an all rounder something that is happy to shoot from 0 up to around 200 yards want to try and keep the overall length down and am setting it so I can suppress it when the banker will allow me

If that barrel isn't yet firmly attached I can share a lapping tool with you to ensure the barrel and receiver meet at a perfect 90 degrees. I'm not far up the road so just let me know.

Didn't really have a budget it cost $2200 to get it to where it is which is roughly sort of around where I was aiming
