Thread: new member(aka the midget) after longrange advise

    No amount of gear is going to get you reliably to 800-1000. Practice will. Spend the coin on reloading gear, make a bunch of ammo and burn out the 300 barrel or buy a 308 as well and shoot lots more. Woundies suck.
    Ditch the can too. Heavy, unwieldly and impractical for LR shooting. Ask KG to do you a brake and you can thank me later.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Keep the Tikka, no reason to upgrade the rifle

    What glass are you using on the Tikka ?

    Tell us some more about distances you are shooting at and specific issues that makes you feel that an upgrade is required.
