Thread: New stock and barrel

I am thinking about upgrading my stock on my Tikka t3 lite 223 as the one it has is shit.
I was thinking about a Mcmillan, which is pricey but I keep hearing they are very good, and would love some advise of you experienced shooters out there.
There was also another brand which looked pretty sexy, again pretty pricey which I will leave the link here.
Basically I have no idea what to do, I like the look of the one below but the Mcmillan is pure quality, not sure about the one below.
Also where would the best place to buy the Mcmillan stocks from?

I know people must be thinking why spend $800 on a stock for a $1200 rifle. I would love to do a custom, but can't afford to, but I can afford to buy one piece at a time over a year or so.
So I will eventually buy a kreiger barrel, or tru flight, but further down the track.

Would like your advise guys.
