Some useful magnification improvements, and they are considerably lighter than previous models

A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time
Looks good aye, they should compete well here and shake things up with the leupold vx5/6 and swaro z5/6.
Like the look of the 3-18x50. Under 27oz be a good long range hunting scope.
Be interesting to see what the prices here will be?
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
Its going to be a great range of scopes.
I don't see you getting much change from $4000 NZ price wise.
The 2-12 looks very interesting.
Im seeing rumour that Leupold have just aquired Nightforce? Any confirmation?

650g for the 2-12 is still pretty heavy.
leupold 2-12 is 565g
swaro 2.4-12 is 460g
I get that they're generally heavier becuase they're tougher but 200g vs the swaro is quite a lot.
also the thought of scrambling across a crumbling ruahine slip with a $4k scope on my rifle makes my butt pucker.
And finally a decent plain reticle in 4A
Nice looking scopes n specs
Better weight for a carry around hunting rifle situation ( NF scopes are never gunna be super light ) but these look manageable
3 -18 & 4 -24 great zoom range
And thank fuk they finally realised that not everyone wants to pretend being a sniper in the Iraq war , worse thing about the 2fp NX8 is that cunty messy reticle digits everywhere - hence why I sold all three I owned, drove me bonkers & trust me I don't need any more help with that
Yay two decent reticles nice basic duplex & a pretty good MOAR ( still a few numbers but far cleaner than others in the line up )
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
They would be even more competitive in the lightweight hunting market if they could offer a low profile turret thats no higher / wider than the objective bell.
unless I'm mistaken the 3-18x50 and beyond are still up in the 27 Oz 800g weight category. Not much lighter than the NXS.
The extra pricing ? gives you what ? a small weight loss and a bit more low end magnification and the option of a first focal plane in some models?
I guess the pricing will determine the value proposition.
Waiting for old mate from the CHI to chime in.....
