Thread: Old decent 4x32 scope?

A bit more on scopes. My Vistascope was purchased new for $35.00 and the Hubertus also new for around $50.00. At the time a similar name brand scope cost upwards of $100.00. Hubertus seems to have been a German brand turning out scope mounts and some scopes. Whether they made the scopes or not who knows but some were marked Schmidt and Bender. Much later there seem to have been some Japanese made scopes carrying the same name. Mine is not marked Hubertus so I could have it mixed up in my mind with another scope but under the windage boss there are some marks that include an H in a circle so once again who knows. In any case both are clear enough and the adjustments work well. I found a couple of Hubertus scopes on the interweb but they are different to mine.
