Which Optics Store to Import From

I know this has been asked a few time but what / who do you guys recommend to buy a scope through in the US ?

I need another scope and nothing is coming up on TM and the new NZ prices are more than I can really justify.

Any stores that you guys have used that you can recommend both for service, price and reliability ?

Also at what stage dollar wise does customs sting you ?

    cheers

    nz$400 including postage.

There is lots, but the ones I have used are:
Rifle Scopes, Premium Optics, Rifles, & More - EuroOptic.com
    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/
    OpticsPlanet.com | Hunting, Shooting & Tactical Gear

not used them but heard good things...
Rifle Scopes at The Rifle Scope Store - Improve Your Shooting Today!
Discount Rifle Scopes, Binoculars & More! - The Optic Zone
..there is one more good one that ships to NZ but I cannot find the link at the moment...

I have bought scopes from Bruno Shooters Supplies, Arcadian and OpticZone.

Most have come via OpticZone. Jon provides an excellent service and usually some of the best prices around.
If I am looking at a potentail scope I run an order thru, up to the point of checking out, to get the shipping cost.
I then delete the order - if you don't you get automated emails saying "we notice you have left something behind"
Discount Rifle Scopes, Binoculars & More! - The Optic Zone

I then run the numbers thru What's My Duty to find out potential gst and Bio fees. I select golf clubs for goods as nothing quite matches scopes in the calculator.

BTW - the last 2 scopes I bought onshore as the difference/saving wasn't substantial enough. The savings vary though with brand.

Depends on what you buying its not always that much of a benefit getting one overseas. Ive been looking at getting a Vx3i Leupold. Ive looked at every site there is overseas, and when you factor in customs (incase you get stung) i found a shop here in NZ(help from this forum) that got me one cheaper than i could source from overseas. Well under retail that most have them for and all i have to do is walk two doors down to the NZ agent and pick it up. Pays to shop around and ask around and weight up the options.
Some stuff might be a little cheaper like another scope i was looking at, but when i factor the wait time, and trying to buy local its not worth savoing the extra dollars when its not that much. Bargains to be had thou on some sites, esp when they have specials. Got a pair of binos under half price from a camera shop in boston few years ago

One place that might tempt you is Quality optics and accessories from Leupold, Bushnell, Burris, Nikon and more! for used quality stuff in good nick unfortunately they want both a US registered credit card and a US address........ has anyone figured a way around this?

    I have used:
    Digital oasis
    Natchez shooter supplies
    The rifle scope store
And a friend has used Liberty optics

Not a single problem with any of them.
