Ive got 3 Tract Toric 'scopes (3-15 pwr). One I have had right from their first get-go on my 300saum and it has been faultless through a pretty tough life.
They are outstanding value and I can't fault mine. AND their service is wonderful. Personal and prompt.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

Whats the go with an import permit for rifle scopes?
Customs says on its website that scopes are now included as a firearm "part". excerpt from website below. Where as I couldn't find a definition in the arms act to suggest scopes are included. Any advice on this?

There is a new definition for ‘part’. Anything that attaches to a firearm is now considered a part and requires a permit to import. This includes integral parts of the firearm, such as barrels and trigger group parts, as well as other items like scopes, sights, butt plates and slings, that attach to a firearm but are not integral to their use.

Shooting accessories such as reloading supplies and gun cases do not require a permit to import.
