The light tac 3-15 is an awesome scope
March 2.5-25x52 or the premier light tac 3-15 premier has better glass March better mag range and turrets
Zeiss HD5 can be set up to have a zero stop that functions only to stop on the downward revolution ie allowing as much upward travel as your scope has.
Swaro Z3 4-12x50 with BRH reticle and ballistic turret.
my zeiss v8 is mint, 2.8-20x56 zero stop illuminated. From 5 meters to 1000 with ease. Only bugger is weight at 800grams but thats fuck all of a drama really. sfp and simple duplex, sweet for hunting
PM'ed.
On paper the almost scope is a Leupold VX6 3-18x44/50 with the tmoa reticle.
Gives you a nice low 3x magnification for shooting up close and the 18x on the high end will get you out too 1000 yards/meters.
The 3-18 VX6 now come with the option of exposed tactical turrets which I believe had a multi-revolution zero stop or you can get the new Zero lock turret that gives you 2 revolutions of adjustment, so 38moa in total, so way better than the Ziess and better that the original zero lock that was limited to 1 revolution.
The 3-18x44 is only 19 onces, so a lot less weight than the Ziess and the Vortex PST, glass will be better than the Vortex and on par with the Ziess.
You should definitely buy this scope in this set up and tell us if it's any good or not, because it sounds like the dogs bollocks and then I'll know if I should make it my Xmas present when I buy a new scope at the end of the year.
The fine crosshair is nice to use as well
