Having read @RabbitStu post thought I’d try making up my own phone scope adapter. Had a play around finding some tube that’s the right size or close to the objective on Vortex HD spotter. Turns out pvc water pipe comes in 56mm OD, very close to 56.5mm objective. And the joint for the pvc pipe after a bit of reaming with the dremel gives a nice snug fit. Attach a section to some pvc flat cut from guttering joiner and glue magnet on the back. Job done.
    Cost me all of $50

Good job chainsaw always good to have a go, luckily I had bits and pieces knocking around I think the tube was wife’s hand cream jar ha,
A spare bit of polycarbonate 5mm thick sheet a few holes and a bit of glue and works just like a bought one.
Mine was for my bird spotting daughter with what looks like the same vortex spotting scope.
You could always make a reducing ring adapter for fitting to gun scope.
