Sell it and get a Annie 1416 or norinco em332 both superior in every way.

Bumping a super old post - but wondering if anyone has any images of their cz with a limbsaver on. I want to increase my lop with a limbsaver, but worried even the low profile ones may looks silly on a .22

You can get extended bolt handles for them. I like one for mine as bolt nob travels very closely to the eye piece.

This is good advise, I had a Weirauch 22lr cut back to 16 inches, problem is some barrels are choked. Was the case with this one -never shot as well again.

I spoke to DPT about this and they said it wasn't an issue for them. I think accuracy improved after the chop, but I don't have hard data. Maybe I just got better at shooting! For the record I went 15". If I was to do it again, I'd go 14".

You can slug your barrel with a lead projectile pushed through the bore, to find out if your barrel has a choke or not, or determine where it is at its tightest and where it can be cut.

Anschutz are generally chocked at the muzzle. And a lot of other brands, including the old cz can go wider and wider and wider toward the muzzle. That does not necessarily mean they won’t shoot at all, but it seems that the trend in competition barrels is to have either à very consistent bore all along or à choke at the end which is obtained by taper laping .

Anybody interested by the subject should read the art of rimfire accuracy by Bill Calfee.
