One thing to be cautious about regarding the Chinese ones is it's a pretty safe bet they aren't stainless, I wouldn't want to epoxy that into my stock lol

Pretty much, also need to hollow out some extra material under the hole so that it forms a cone shaped void for the epoxy to fill in. Pretty easy install on composite stocks.

Some of the QDs can be a bit finicky too. Luckily mine decided to come out in the tussock after I’d crossed a rocky stream. If im changing them around, I always give them a good tug to make sure they’re on tight. Never had that issue with the uncle mikes

Yes very good and highly rate the sling. Being able to tighten hard against side of rifle is great for the majority of the time you are not using the sling.

Now looking at getting this little obi rifle attachment, handy when needing a quick hands free solution e.g using binos for a quick scan or getting over a niggly piece of ground. Permantely attach female component to pack or bino harness. Used a friends with my desert tech which was great for a heavy rifle so will be even better with a light rifle.

+1 for the Mtn gear sling and flush cups, just make sure you clock them correctly when epoxying them in haha

The issue with some from ali is they are not all to spec. make sure to test well before travelling with them.
