    Tikka t3x stock options

Hi all, i have just bought a t3x roughtech ember and i really don't like the stock. does anyone here have a wooden stock that they could weigh for me? i have searched for specs but no luck. pretty keen to go wood if it's not too much more weight. on that, if anyone has a wooden stock and you want a brand new roughtech one, flick me a msg. cheers.

A laminated stock is about 250g -300g heavier.

You will probably have to do some milling. The Roughtech is running the D18 barrel which is heavier in the throat/chamber area, so will not drop straight into a wooden stock as they are designed for the D14/standard barrel.

I swap between my synthetic and lam stock on the 270
and whilst its a tad heavier I much prefer the lam, stock feel and look. Lam is heavier than walnut I believe but its more weather resistant in wet and cold especially.
