Personally I have a BCG dedicated to its associated upper, but thats just me
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

For what you described you'd get away with just 1 BCG, I'd rather have 1 good TiN coated BCG shared between 2 uppers than 2 standard jobbies

But the advantage of a BCG per upper is that the BCG is always left in the upper and ready to go.

My brother was running two uppers and one BCG and we went for a weekend hunt. Should have seen the look on his face when we arrived and went to go for the first stalk and he pulled back on the charging handle ............ and there was nothing there. The BCG was in the other upper!
He was a right royal grumpy pain in the arse all weekend walking around the hills going "Bang - Bang" with no gun.

Bolt lugs will wear in to fit the barrel extension. Swapping the same bolt between multiple uppers will cause accelerated bolt wear.

To be honest, I wasn't game to. It was about the most pissed off I had ever seen him.
