Range Finders and medium long range hunting

What is your range finder set up for 700y max hunting
A ballistic range finder with all the bluetooth etc
or will a basic range finder that gives you equivalent horizontal range/true ballistic range and a drop chart keeping it simple

Ive got a Maven CRS.1 good price, good glass and angle compensation and lifetim

Usually tend to stray away from all the bluetooth gear as its just another thing to go wrong. Good rangefinder and a valid drop chart for dial taped to the butt for quick reference

$600 Bushnell and drop chart that I made double sided one side for my 308 the other side for my 22-250. Sealed it up with sellotape and keep it in the same compartment as the rangefinder on my chest rig. I made it only up to 400yards and doubt I'll ever shoot at an animal that far anyway.

55$ aliexpress rangefinder (that i find remarkably good for the money, can give horizontal range or angle to target) and applied ballistics app (free version).
