    I got one in 308 when the stainless synthetic first came out....was a joy to carry but fark it was loud!!

    haha, yes if you think the stainless 20 inches were bad, you can imagine what the original 18.5 inch models were like, my Dads original 18.5" M7 in 243 is hell loud, and with a stout load of IMR 7828ssc she sure is a flame thrower!

    Ahhhh dont quote me on it because its being a couple weeks since i was looking at grabbing it but i think it was $1599 ready to roll with rings and a wee scope

    I had one in 260 for a short while
    The ergo of it didn't suit me personally and the synthetic stock sucked so I sold it
    It to me wasn't an improvement on a 700 short action
    Horses for courses but they sure look cool
