    S & B scope

    Hi all ,
    Could anyone tell me if s&b makes a fixed 12x56 at all,

    (I found one advertised!)
    I couldn't find a review or anything. I have the pm11 but its a bit heavy for work and has to much going on.
    Could this 12x56 be a discontinued item or is it likely to be a fake

    After a quick Google search it looks like it might be an old model - steel tube by the looks of it.
    Not much good for shooting the close stuff!

    Im a roo shooter in Western Australia, so all shots must be brain shots out to about 250m. Could be a good option then

    Yes I have one bloody good scope only down side for small game is they have a picket post reticle the modern version has a mil dot type reticle but are very expensive, an 8x56 should be ok for head shots at 250 metres
    I have head shot hares at 200 metres with a 6x on my .222 with out any problem.

    Was gonna say something smart about Aussies and brain shots ! u better get a damn fine reticle

    8x56 SnB very popular in UK....awesome low light performance, very affordable second hand....

    Haha cheers chainsaw . I'm auctully from Hamilton. Tell you something for nothing , when kiwis say they shoot deer at 150m you can Bet it's only 70, when an ozzy says wow that's a good 200m shot Kidd it's alwase 350.
