Got a rifle (a while ago), made a film. Need to replace that front bead with a square topped blade for a better sight picture. Have one in the mail fortunately.

That's nice [emoji106]
Well made film. You've put a bit of effort into this.
And what an awesome wee rifle

Nice, what sort of ranges were you shooting the wallabies at?
nice rifle, nice shooting
Good shooting with open sights.
Cool.
Man, I wanna shoot some wallabies!!
Great video as always. Is this in the Hunter hills by any chance? Or Haka valley perhaps?
Haka valley
I am amazed you didnt cut it shorter and put a muffler on it.
Rad range bag too.
Damn fine video, damn fine rifle, makes me itchy for this years wallaby pilgrimage.
Still got my aperture for my old 308 SAKO. @gimp is yours a 222 one and for the longer shots did you rotate the sight for the higher setting? Nice vid.
I'm not aware of them being calibre/cartridge specific. I didn't change the setting for the longer shots, haven't quantified how much difference there is between the settings yet. Plan to do that when I get my new front sight blade and I can shoot more repeatable groups.
I've shot from them, been ferried by them, been biffed out of them and jumped out of them and landed on my head. But never recall knocking my 'scope out.
But, I still think that your peep sight concept is very cool. It still doesn't stop you from having a little scope on it though, that you can take off when the nasty R93 type man damages it.
Had a hunter blame me for missing a stag of a lifetime because of the way I loaded his rifle into the machine once.
Since then I always left the guns till last and let them load them in or hold them. Unless they bring them down in one of those huge, won't even fit in a Chinook boxes.
Never have I seen a pilot mistreat a rifle.

Yup.
Cant argue with that.
Did you consider a Red dot sight? Nice set up
That thing is way cooler with irons.
'Mufflers' are great ay @BRADS, you can shoot a deer and then TRY and shoot some more deer 330y away that haven't cared about the first shot, miss and still have the opportunity to miss again because they have no idea where it's coming from
Still think barrel needs painting though gimp.
There was only 2...

I think I am 26 or 27 straight without a miss on deer with my clapped out blaser, with 2 different cals. Longest streak I can remember.
I did miss a deer not long ago with someone else's rifle. But it was a poo 4 3 so it wasnt my fault😆

I had a red dot and hated it, much prefer open sights, better in nearly every way
Hey you know that rifle would go really well with a nice light stock, something like a HighTech or something? Great video though.
I think half the appeal of that rifle is the old school no gimmicks feel.
And a tactical knob.
