    Got my 416 back after 12+ years. It had been stored in a gun room and even though they had open slather to take it out hunting, they never did.
    As such it had quite a thick coating of dust on the objective lens. I definitely didn't want to wreck it.
    there was one funny water type mark on it but using the instructions below it came up sweet.

    Wilhelm Arms and Optics - Care for lenses in binoculars spotting scopes and riflescopes.
