Hey man, I was looking at purchasing a different scope recently and posted up here too. Got some awesome feedback from the lads. I was in the same boat as you, do mostly bush hunting but have been onto the tops recently and want something easy to dial. I would stay well clear of anything over 4X for the lower range, purely for the fact most of your hunting is bush. I would stick to 2-3X max with 9-12 upper however if you're going to want more than 9X I would recommend going for +40mm front lens.
I would personally recommend Leupold with CDS, find the right cartridge and get it custom dialed. Far easier for us who don't really get to push the limits all that well.
