Thread: Scope Sun Shades

I think it is mission impossible to just buy a random one and hoping it would work. Most lenses tells you the diameter of the objective, but that does not necessarily translate into the diameter of the thread, it can easily be 1 or 2mm larger. the threading also is not standardised. I just use a piece of wrapped cardboard, then wrap wide duct tape around it to protect it from light rain. looks fugly but who cares.
