A lot of Police Stations don't have an Arms Officer, here the local officer checks the form and your ID, then it gets sent to Hamilton which covers the Waikato etc. If your lucky and the Arms Officer is working out of Hamilton Station and not on days off or elsewhere the seller might get the form within a couple of days.
