About LinkBacksMost US Optics scopes have only a short eye relief of 2 inches , where as most other brands LR scopes are 3.75 to 4.0 inches , so poor old Gunny closed up to the scope to get the right sight picture , that and maybe letting the rifle slip a bit , and got bit by the scope .
So not totally Gunnys fault ? , the only USO scope I have with good eye relief is the MST-100 , which was designed by Unertl & not USO , the MST-100 is a fixed 10x scope and has 3 inches of eye relief .
