    Service Rifle question

Does anyone know if this rifle qualifies for NZSRA service class?

    http://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co.n...15-acat-34523/

Does the barrel need to have the cuts for the grenade launcher (govt profile) or can it be standard straight barrel?

    Cheers
    Sas

No it should be fine in general however the "A Cat" stock is not standard and the muzzle break isn't either. You could e-cat it and change to a normal A3 and compensator.

Barrel diameter under the hand-guards (Not including the chamber area) must not
exceed .96 of an inch up to the gas-block where it must drop to the standard .750
diameter so as to fit a standard A2 gas block. The barrel diameter forward of the
front sight must not exceed .740 of an inch.
Carbine barrels; can be either 14.5 or 16” and can be M4, M4A1 or HBAR profile with
a fixed (pinned) A1 or A2 gas block. Otherwise specifications are the same as for 20

Awesome thanks guys, I would ditch the AIL stock and put an A2 buttstock on & lose the muzzle break for a standard A2 birdcage. Just wasn't sure about the barrel, for some reason can't download pdf's atm on my phone for the SR match code.
