When I had a 10/22 I found the factory mags were the best for function. I had problems with the after market ones. However I see a simple solution for you. Glue a small nut to the bottom of your mags. Then use a bolt with a sleeve screwed to the bottom of the mag. The sleeve can be any shape or length that you want. It could even be the same profile of the mag. This will give you the length needed to grab the magazine, and if you want to use it on a "normal" 10/22 you simply remove or attach the handle as needed.
