That is their uprated MkII version with the better mag catch recess and slightly smaller dimensions - a friend is Betta testing some with good results.

Nice! Ive heard from a few people that theyre fairly tight in most lowers, 2 friends have had no issues in their NEAs however.Good to see colour options.

There is now a second generation mag available (these) which *should* be better than the first gen. I haven't had a chance to try them yet but have high hopes.

Bought five Gen I mags and had to slightly thin three where they entered the mag well and square up the mag release notch to retain them better. Two needed no modification. All have been working and feeding since the modifications.

The FDE ones are Gen II and have been upgraded in those areas.

Buy NZ Made! (You don't need a Parmit to Import to obtain them - or even an endorsement or licence ...)

I am just a retail customer - no other connection with Speer Mags

    +1

I'm every happy NZ manufacturing is moving fwd and I'm happy to pay some extra over importing to support it so feel the pricing is right on the money

In the past there have been mags "floating" around from them that could be test driven.

On past performance spear will make a good product, and I personally hope this 2d gen is it.
