Got advice from a man in the know and he said danish oil was the go so got a tin from Bunnings and have done a couple of coats it looks good to me,have some birch wood Casey stock wax here that I will do a final coat with in a few days.thanks for all the tips.
Give the stock at least 12 coats mate. Like someone said the stocks are not all that flash as colour goes and they take a wee bit of oil to come right
