Remmingtons can come with a cheaper rings and scope package or quality rings only package at the same price . Tikka are standard with alloy rings which are functional but not really nice.

Both shoot just fine but they do feel different to each other.

Great points. One thing I'd add is when testing how a rifle feels on the shoulder, I've found I need to test with the rifle scoped, as I've been mislead about the feel when just testing the rifle "bare" before.
