I have a developing interest in long range shooting. I will be able to shoot out to 500 on my own property so figure that will get me started off with learning the rig and then I will see where that takes me.

Wish I had a piece of dirt big enough round here for shooting out that far. What size pills you plan on shooting? If you get bored of waiting for it you can always borrow mine to keep you interested in the interim, or there is one on tardme for 6k.

    It's addictive Rushy.

Shot 600 yds for the first time today in really variable wind

Next weekend is 900 yds, and looks like I might be doing my first serious FTR compo over Easter weekend, nothing like diving inat the deep end hey...

Yeah the long range stuff is good fun. Missed the last few meets though. Some serious money in some of those rigs, and my little $1200 savage shoots almost as well, gets let down buy my impatience

I have just recieved my Savage 110BA and Leupold scope from Darren and have to say that I am well please at the transaction and service from Darren even if Barrack Obama's intervention caused some delays. I have no hesitation in endorsing Darren's service and pointing any forum member toward Target Sports as an importer.

Both had excellent ratings for their Trademe businesses, so I would be very surprised if there were any dodgy goings on.
