Thread: Threading a noodle? Kimber barrel

Thanks all, I’m not keen on 1/2”, will give DPT a call to discuss when I get a chance. Not sure how you can get a 14mm thread on a barrel with ~14mm OD as thought you needed a shoulder for the supp to pull up against.

I have a 1/2x28 threaded 24 inch kimber and i feel you would struggle to go any bigger without cutting it down way shorte definitely would get a 14x1 without a trim which i doubt you want with the wsm

Got a photo of the shoulder? Is the 8400wsm barrel a larger profile than the 84l
