Gibo has a confession to make....................... oh yes he does:)
Mmmm.... Did I buy the wrong gun? Tikka 270 came highly recommended, what's with all the friction? Or, being a newbie, am I missing something here?
Already confessed earlier :D

I'm a Tikka fan. But not so much of the new T3s. Pretty nasty :-/ but can't dispute accuracy and therefore, value. Older model 'Tikkakowski' rifles were beautiful and worthy of being called "poor man's Sako".
Can't speak for the bretikkas as I don't own one but anything pre T3 is pretty good os that's what I have.....in a mouse gun calibre too....which funny enough still shoots things dead...if I do my fucken job right.... . Night all

Tikka 270's are for blokes who are to shy to wear their dress in public .
Now Blaser's are a different story , if you want a manly firearm , think Blaser .

Firstly i may just happen to like wearing dresses! ;)

Secondly in terms of rifle ability you don't get much more out of a Blaser than you do a Tikka, they're both accurate, both well made, both easy to use.
Sure Blasers are 'nicer' but are they multiple $1000 'nicer'!.... after handling one at the Sika Show i don't think so
Besides to a new hunter a Blaser is WAAAAYYYYY out of thier price range... Tikkas aren't.

Blasers are only becoming popular these days because its ok to be homo now :P
