    I was just going to mention the bolt but got beaten to it. A lot of tikkas lose their bolts if carried with the bolt open. Bloody expensive to replace.

    I dont get the carry with bolt open thing. You end up with bulk bush dust inside the action. I either take the bolt out, have it half cocked and ready to rock or if slung over my back I closed and locked on an empty chamber.

    Yeah, I'm same same.

    Some people don't like the bolt closed though. It just means you have to show them when you close it empty.
