    @mikee I use this. Seems to work well. The Wattyl black etch stuff is awesome too.

    I bought a couple of small tins of Humbrol or Tamiya paint ( Matt & Gloss black)and a very fine brush from a model shop and use them to touch up scratches on scopes and an anodised trigger guard. They worked well and you need to really look hard to notice it. Wipe a bit of oil over it and it looks a million $.

    Ok if anodising not scratched thru to the a dozing (ie black to see silver) and just surface scuff crc and a scotch brite pad Do this On marked aluminium and anodozide window joinery done it on my now gone ar even worked on scratched up stainless. Rifle barrel. I soak the shit out of scotch. Britt then clean rag it

    use a felt tip first......oil the whole gun with a rag (turns it dark) except the area you retouched......if you wipe off the marker just use some isopropyl alcohol to remove the oil and retip with the marker.....if you are careful its close to undetectable for 24 hours
