    True Flight Premium Suppressor Barrels

I've been looking into re-barrelling my Tikka 223 to 300BLK and stumbled across these barrels being offered by trueflight.
I'm guessing they are effectively just half of a 32" premium target 30cal or 338cal barrel blank.

Has anyone used one of these?
They are definitely cheaper than a full length premium target barrel but not quite half price, more like 2/3 the price.

I'm contemplating seeing if I can buy a 32" premium target barrel, get a 12-14" 300blk barrel done and keep the 18-20" offcut for use in a later 308 project.
Not if just be easier to buy the premium suppressor barrel now and not have to worry about storing the offcut.

I have one of the premium suppressor ones fitted to my 300blk, they done the work and it’s fantastic top level tidy gunsmithing.
I can’t really test how accurate it is bieng a basically subsonic only unit for me but there’s no complaints about the barrel

You are right that you don’t need much for a 300blk length wise

1 in 8 or 1 in 7 for subs. Much slower if running supers only.

I've run a few of both the TrueFlite .300blk and .338 whisper barrels and they are great. I have found their 1-8" twists out shoot the many factory rifle 1-7" twist barrels in all my testing of subs.

@Bill999 can you remember how much it cost for the re-barrel?
True flight don't have prices online anymore.

its getting on a few years now but from memory including fitting and threading for the suppressor it was a bit more than a grand
