    She handles that recoil like a boss. Prefer the Marlin myself but I am biased as I own a dark in 3030.

    I did consider it, but it's too long, plus I would want a suppressor which would have to be barrel forward. Chink, chink, chink as you go through the supplejack, annoying! Short is good in proper bush, so it's a single shot rifle for me.

    Best bush gun is the one you have in your hand at the time you see the stag of your dreams lol. Those 1895's in 45-70 can be crazy accurate for what they are. Mine shoots moa or very close to it very consistently.
