I had a random phone call from a CNI gun collector today about an unrelated subject.

I asked him if he still had a Webley Wyley and he had sold his 4 years ago.
So I asked in the Wellington auctions ?
    Yes
Was it a straight grip H&H
    Yes

So I found out who owned it before the gent I brought it off.
He was able to tell me the Canterbury gent ( now disceased) he had brought it off.
I know Wal Winfer had it in 2004.

So I know it's last 4 owners and none of them had shot it

Oh those guys are collectors who wouldn't dream of shooting them.

I'm that weird guy in Akaroa who actually shoots and hunts with them.
They probably think I'm pretty unsophisticated and not a real collector because I shoot them all.
    And the bigger the better
My carbon footprint has been huge this week with lots of black powder burnt
