About LinkBacksI believe some of the biggest Tahr in NZ have been shot with a 243. You wont have an issue using it on nannies but you may or may not have issues with large bulls in the rut (now). If you want a new rifle the by all means go ahead but IMHO you don't NEED it. Anything larger than your current 243 obviously has more "knock down" but you have to make sure you can get the bullets on target as placement is just as important...Originally Posted by david.kouwenhoven
