    What Do We Have Here? Experimentation?

    Was watching some historic hunting show footage a while back. What’s wrong with this picture, or is it, what’s right with this picture? Bit of experimentation going on.

    Shortening overall legnth with out chopping the barrel haha did it give an explanation at all?

    No explanation. After talking to a mate whose family member is associated with the show, I think they were expecting no one to notice.

    Very strange. Barreled action and stock separated and repositioned so action sits far rearward of it's usual position ? Picture is grainy but I assume the barrel is screwed into the front of the action.
    Question is why ? What is it supposed to achieve ? As suggested, overall shortening without sacrificing barrel length ?

    Front scope mount will be non existent

    Likely a mock-up for the show and unusable
