About LinkBacksThere were two 550's in the safe before I found a 602. Both excellent accurate rifles, the .375 H&H in wood with cross bolts and the .458 Win Mag in kevlar.
The 602 has the European style stock and is slimmer than the 550 it just feels better to me. Cross bolts are not fitted to 602 375 rifles the walnut was a better grade.
I like the simpler look of the 602 action.
The Kevlar stock is also slimmer and feels good but I dont like the 550 actions used as an advertising bill board.
The difference in the end is a personal choice and the Brno 602 gets a couple of extra ticks from me.
