...would rather buy a known performer, put it on a rifle - knowing it is unlikely to let me down....and that I don't have to muck around sighting it in and sending it back.
Especially if there is a chance it may not perform - on a 300 Win Mag? Nothing says confidence in your product like "don't push it too hard"
