    I was under the impression that the advantage of the small primer was that the base of the case had more brass due to the nsmaller primer and therefore was less likely to stretch and allow higher pressures...but as the wife says I'm usually wrong!

    I went with the 6.5 creedmoor in a F-class/ long range rig. First because the round was new and sexy, second because nobody had one at the time and third because 260lapua case were not available at the time.
    I still have it, still love it, although I don't take her out as often as I should:-)
