    Year of manufacture ?

    So, I’ve acquired a Santa Barbara Mauser in 7x57 ( cheers Phil 😃 )
    The serial # is R47387
    Any idea where I’d find something to date it ?
    Google has lead me up several blind alleys, so far.
    I understand that they supplied actions to Parker Hale and BSA back in the 60’s.
    Any leads ?

    The SB actions were also imported into the US in large numbers by several importers. . .

    Late '60's, '70's and 80's they were used by Parker Hale and other small scale makers, not BSA though as they made their own actions.
