Yea well good to get them into it on something they can use properly.
Scope will come off for a start.

Also means I get to shoot my rifle without it being a boring trip to the range getting yelled at by dad to behave while they wait.... not really fair.

The PJ's are a perfect match for the rifle colour!

Nothing a rattlecan won't fix. Lime green would be pretty rad to a kid?

It might eat the plastic? me and painting dont tend to go well together.

The young fellas find it easy enough to aim etc?

Well they have only had one go so far but they went much better than trying to use my jw15 so i guess so.

Ive just picked up a Marlin XT-22 Youth 22lr off trademe, paid $292, pretty happy with that. Has a 7 round mag and the single shot mag/follower thingy. Can also put the full size stock on it when the kids get bigger.

My 4 year old is obviously far too little to properly hold my Marlin 25n and really struggled (prone) just to hold it and reach trigger etc, so am looking forward to seeing how she goes with this. Great to get them out with you just to start teaching them about firearm safety etc and make them feel part of it.
