Thread: Zeiss conquest 3-9x40 Any good?

I've owned a Zeiss Conquest for about 6-7 years, it was the Rapid Z 600 model. The glass is great quality, sharp to the edges and fantastic in low light. I have no experience at dialing as the lazer etched reticle did the trick. I've used most models of Leopold scopes and the variable eye relief has bugged me to no end where as the Zeiss had 4" of constant eye relief and a generous eye box. The quality of a Conquest is easily close to a VX6 (VX6 might have the upper hand). For the money they are fantastic scopes and to top it off they are a simple 1" ring and aren't too heavy.
