    28 for the night

    Had a great little evening shoot last night. 3 of us got 28 birds over 2.5 hours.

    No picks of the birds as I think the view was the trophy of the evening.

    that wee creek reeks of ducks.have done a little shooting around moonlight and both farms had creeks like this holding suprising numbers .a little less after we harvested a few .

    A mate and I Had a quick hunt this morning before I had to shift fences at 8. Got too river just before shooting light and promptly had the magazine release a round as I loaded which shot into the pickup and jammed the bolt shut somehow. Which took us 20 minutes to clear. Anyway once done we had 30 minutes of madness with some epic pass shooting and ended with 16 birds between us.

    Had a great day of small quick shoots today. This evening after work I went back out and got another 5 parries, a Mallard and a surprise Swann that snuck up on me from behind.

    Shot a flooded paddock this morning before work. A quick hour and half gave good results for two of us.
