    Another bush hunt.

    Got out for a quick bush hunt Saturday evening in the southern Ruahines. Left the truck at 5pm dropped down a gully up the other side took 15min going quick. Started seeeing fresh sign slowed right down then stalked for about 80m. Saw a bit of movement, a hind feeding vitals obscured then a dopey spiker appeared feeding away from me, finally lifted its head so copped it in the back of the neck.     Yeah put quite a bit of time in sussing areas, this spot only takes about 25 min from home
