Yes, I was wrapped to have her back with me. Its a silly thing but without her I really did have the feeling something was missing.

James just needs to understand now (and I think he does) that so far its been quite soft hunting and greater satisfaction will come from greater challenges. He tramps in the Tararuas with his school and isn't afraid of a challenge so I think he will be up for it. He's been into the DOC Haurangis with us too. So now he needs to get a public land deer and do the hard yards. Im sure he will grow into it we need to let him come to it in his own time and not project our own expectations onto him. Regardless I will still love him to the moon and back - even if he ends up as a Police cabinet minister in a Labour government.
